*~*~* Happy Birthday America!! *~*~*
Happy 4th of July ~ with thanks to all those who sacrificed for our Freedom ~
I wanted to do something fun for the kids that was easy and they will enjoy not only devouring but also helping with in the kitchen! It’s such a great opportunity to teach them and talk about what we are celebrating. So yesterday we made the red, white & blue popsicles. They were so effortless, and my little ones couldn’t wait to get in them once they were set!
Ingredients:
– 3 bananas, frozen
– 1/3 β 1/2 cup milk of choice
– handful of blueberries and raspberries
Instructions:
- Blend the bananas and milk in a high speed blender until you have soft ice-cream consistency.
- Pour the mixture in popsicle molds and decorate with the blueberries and raspberries, as you push them gently close to the mold so they can be visible
- Freeze for 5 hours and take to your next party π
Note: I didn’t use any sweetener because bananas have a high natural sugar content. If you prefer you can drop a tbsp of honey or maple syrup in the blender. Be warned though that it might change the color of your “white”.Β
